Accommodations exhibit a wide range of quality, but almost all tourist attractions are serviced by tented camps or safari lodges that approach the high standards set by Kenya or Tanzania. There are also some very good hotels in Kampala, Jinja and Entebbe. But there are also plenty of basic and second- or third-rate accommodations around, so it's advisable to book into the nicest property possible to minimize potential problems.
